Snickers 'The Snickers Sessions'

You’re not rock'n'roll when you’re hungry.

That’s the premise behind The SNICKERS® Sessions, which saw two established Aussie acts record and release a cover song completely different to their usual style.

A public vote decided which song indie-electronic band Miami Horror and hip hop artist Phrase would cover and record.

Every vote raised $1 for Heaps Decent – a not-for-profit initiative committed to  finding and nurturing the creativity of underprivileged, indigenous young people.

The SNICKERS® Sessions raised over $20,000  for Heaps Decent through the voting process, while fans on Twitter, Facebook and the music blogosphere generated hug buzz for Snickers and gave the brand credibility and a platform to continue to be relevant sponsors of grass roots music in the future.
